In addition to the well known MagSealed® construction and sealing on the main axle the DAIWA exclusive MagSealed ball bearings seal the side axle on both sides of the crank and protect it from salt water and dirt particles.

The line roller is also equipped with MagSealed® ball bearings for a much better durability. The line roller is the one that comes into contact with salt water and dirt particles most often - MagSealed® ball bearings offer the security of durable and uncomplicated use.

The high cord socket allows sufficient reserves even when using extremely thick braids. The maximum braking force of 25 or 30 kg always provides the basis to successfully fight the fight even in extreme situations and to brake escaping fish without compromise.

The ATD™ brake system offers you the necessary safety to hook and land the fish immediately especially in extreme situations. Compared to conventional brake systems the ATD™ brake starts without the usual higher initial resistance and continuously maintains the set braking force - a further milestone in reel design.
